Staking
In order to recognize, reward and empower women who have played an integral role with personal involvement and efforts to operate and build the PLON community in a substantive manner, the founder maintains a privately seeded staking vehicle known as the Poker League of Nations Founder’s Fund. Recipients of staking funds are selected based on their contributions to the PLON community as a whole—with discretion, but also with input from PLON leaders. The list of recipients is long, and we will endeavor to announce monthly. In addition to staking fund winnings being retained by the recipient player, the intention is that a percentage of the winnings be reinvested back into the fund to continually support other PLON women to enter open events.
Poker League of Nations organizes and hosts the only formal, on-going female-lead poker tournament staking initiative.
Staking Events
Our active staking initiative provides women the platform to play in open fields, in major Main Events and High Rollers that they would be unable to enter without backing.
The PLON community backing ladies playing in open fields is much more valuable than simply the financial benefit. The women share in succeeding together, and our players have the added support of a tremendous PLON cyber-rail!

The goal of PLON is to expand women’s participation in open poker events. Our worldwide staking satellites provide the opportunity for women to play in higher buy-in open tournaments as well as cultivating community forging – the investors have a vested interest in the winner’s success.
