

WPT, Poker League of Nations agree to partnership for three October freerolls

It’s been a difficult year for many in the poker world. The global health pandemic has taken a toll on the industry and the morality of the poker community. That’s why the Poker League of Nations, the world’s largest women’s poker organization, is closing out the year with some positive vibes while spreading holiday cheer.
Lena Evans, founder of PLON, created the PLONcares charity, a nonprofit organization that promotes female empowerment through mind sports, and supports nonprofits focused on women and children, as well as women directly affected by needs within our community.

The World Poker Tour and the world’s largest women’s poker organization, the Poker League of Nations (PLON), have agreed to a partnership for three 2020 events. All three freeroll events will take place next month on the Club WPT app, the WPT’s home for online poker.

World Poker Tour® and Poker League of Nations® are partnering in October for a series of freeroll tournaments on ClubWPT™.
The largest women’s poker group in the world will compete in exclusive tournaments with cash prize pools and prizes from WPT® partner Baccarat and PLON® up for grabs on the WPT’s home for online poker, ClubWPT.
Poker League of Nations is an international community of 6,800 women poker players from 25 countries whose goals include camaraderie, education, philanthropy and encouraging more women to enter and succeed in open poker events. Read more here.
