Final Home Game Heats Up as Race to the Finish Concludes Within Decimal Points
The final Home Game of the 2019 Season 2 on June 9th began with 21 players and the action heated up quickly as 1PokerRabbit raised the button and ninas33 flops a flush and doubles up early. On another table, jloharmon takes the lead early on.
In the early rounds, the stubbornness of Tenstiks makes her reluctant to give up a mid-pair and gets married to Jacks after opening 3 times the big blind, and 3 people call, including ckphamm in the big blind.
The flop comes A-2-10 rainbow and ckphamm leads out with a 2x bet on the flop. Tenstiks calls and the turn brings the 8 of diamonds. Ckphamm leads small again and tenstiks calls. Tenstiks calls behind on the smallish river bet when the 10 of diamonds shows up on the river. The showdown reveals the Jacks were out flopped by the ace trey off suit of ckphamm. Nice hand!

About 1 hour and 29 minutes in, natash4 takes her time thinking about her UTG open raise size and puts out a 3x raise UTG (Under the Gun). LiveMusic95 makes the call to defend her big blind.
Then, the beautiful flop brings the 10-9-J of diamonds making a straight flush possible. First to act, LiveMusic95 checks, then natash4 bets slightly more than half the pot. LiveMusic95 calls. The Queen of Clubs on the turn makes a Broadway straight possible, and LiveMusic95 quickly checks oop (out of position) while natash4 bets around 2/3rds the pot which is also about 2/3rds the effective stack of LiveMusic95.
LiveMusic95 thinks about it a moment and goes all in for the remaining 3420 in her stack. Natash4 has pot odds to call and calls rightfully so.
Natash4 tables AK suited for the Broadway straight while LiveMusic95 flips over her 86 of diamonds for an 8 high flush and a double up through natash4 when the King of Clubs bricks the river.

From the results of Home Game #9, we can see how many points are awarded by the #PokerStars Home Games client point system and determine that Aces54320 (Kathy Chang) must finish in 7th place or better, to win the Season Championship as she trails mattiebumpo by only 14 decimal points! Kathy has 21 points and mattiebumpo (Kathleen Twomey) has 21.14 points.

The games start with 5000 in chips and 10-minute blinds. As players are eliminated we see mattiebumpo bubbles the final table and aces54320 is still in the race for PLON Season Champion.
As aces54320 aka Kathy Chang, is eliminated in 9th, we crown mattiebumpo aka Kathleen Twomey as PLON Champion for Season 2 of 2019.
